[Breach, Cavern of Ages] The chamber's walls are modulated with the same large recesses that pocket the walls of the chamber to the north. Inside each, the red stone is polished to an indulgent surface that highlights the striations in the rock. On the cavern's eastern wall however, something went horribly wrong. The undulating niches are blasted into shambles around a central oval just behind a golden pedestal. There, the rock looks like it has melted, running down the side of the cavern in eddies of molten stone. You also see a golden pedestal with a nebulous sphere hovering above it. Also in the room: Lady Rayyne, the body of Lord Berr who is lying down, Lady Merry, Lord Terate Obvious exits: north. |
"...WE HUNGER FOR THE SOULS..."
Risper says, "I have tried attacking it...it does not work."
The nebulous sphere pulses with a green light.
Terate growls ferociously!
Merry asks, "with the mace?"
Risper says, "Terate...this ends here."
Risper nods to Merry.
You exclaim, "Terate, they are nothing compared to what you have found here!"
Terate lifts his arms, anti-matter flashing from him!
You hear the voice of Berr exclaim, "Put da mace In da sphere!"
Terate growls ferociously!
You exclaim, "fight them!"
You exclaim, "Rayyne needs you!"
Jala says, "fight em, for Rayyne"
Terate whirls, snarling at Risper!
Terate glows with black power!
You exclaim, "they will kill her, Terate!"
You hear the voice of Berr say, "Terate....come on"
Terate exclaims, "You annoy us!"
Risper says, "By Lorminstra's name, I stand here."
Risper glares.
Jala nods to Risper.
Risper says, "And you shall not have them."
* Risper was just obliterated!
* Risper just bit the dust!
Terate points at Risper!
A swirling black void opens just overhead and dark tendrils of anti-mana reach out, enveloping Risper. Within seconds Risper is sucked into the void...
* Risper drops dead at your feet!
The nebulous sphere pulses with a blue light.
You hear the voice of Berr say, "Dammit"
Jala says, "ack"
You do your best impression of a grizzly, scaring people for miles!
Berr whispers, "Dispel him rapidfire"
Nyte comes out of hiding.
Terate glows with black power!
Terate paces like a caged tiger.
Berr whispers, "I'll kill him"
whisper Berr I've never been able to cast at him
Terate growls ferociously!
Merry sighs.
Terate tries to manipulate the sphere.
The sphere swells with power, leaving the air crackling with static! As the sphere's flare subsides, you notice that it has grown in size immensely.
You concentrate on the Rapid Fire spell...
Your spell is ready.
You feel the magic surge through you.
Merry says, "oh Terate, Terate."
* Jala was just obliterated!
* Jala just bit the dust!
Terate points at Jala!
A swirling black void opens just overhead and dark tendrils of anti-mana reach out, enveloping Jala. Within seconds Jala is sucked into the void...
* Jala drops dead at your feet!
You hear the voice of Berr exclaim, "Dammit!"
Merry asks, "what about your parents?"
You concentrate on the Elemental Dispel spell...
You gesture at Terate.
Terate glows with black power!
Terate laughs!
The nebulous sphere pulses with a yellow light.
Terate paces!
You roll your eyes.
You hear the voice of Nyte ask, "Terate, wha abouts Rayyne?"
Merry asks, "how would they feel now?"
Terate growls ferociously!
You hear the voice of Nyte say, "she is one her way to ye....right now"
Merry says, "they had such hopes for you Terate"
Merry says, "you were their golden son"
Terate laughs!
The nebulous sphere pulses with a red light.
Terate tries to manipulate the sphere.
The sphere flares, sending brilliant blue sparks arcing across the room! As the sparks flicker out, you notice that the sphere has shrunk.
"...THE RIFT...OPEN IT NOW..."
Merry says, "reach deep inside, Terate"
Terate laughs!
You exclaim, "shut up, you!"
Terate points at Risper.
Terate laughs!
Merry says, "I can't see her."
Terate says, "We have something special for you Risper.."
Merry says, "or Beldin"
Terate laughs!
Merry sobs.
You exclaim, "Terate, where is the elf who loves Rayyne? Yer not thinkin!"
Terate snorts.
Terate exclaims, "Stand up!"
Terate exclaims, "STAND UP!"
Merry says, "Risper is dead"
The nebulous sphere pulses with a blue light.
You hear the voice of Nyte say, "Rayyne be one her way ta ye, Terate, she calls."
Merry says, "and gone"
Terate growls ferociously!
Lady Rayyne just arrived.
Merry gasps.
You say, "Rayyne, tis up to you"
Terate growls ferociously!
Rayyne exclaims, "Terate!"
You say, "they have him"
Merry exclaims, "Rayyne!"
You hear the voice of Nyte say, "Ye sees, Terate? she loves ye still"
Rayyne asks, "Who?"
You say, "get him back to us"
Rayyne just kissed Terate.
Rayyne asks, "Where is everyone, Terate?"
Terate points at Berr. He is surrounded by a halo of fire and falls dead!
* Berr just bit the dust!
* Berr drops dead at your feet!
Berr suddenly fades into view.
Rayyne just touched a golden pedestal with a nebulous sphere hovering above it.
Merry says, "Beldin and Risper are dead"
Rayyne sobs.
Terate laughs!
The nebulous sphere pulses with a orange light.
Merry says, "Jala was voided"
Rayyne rubs Terate gently.
Terate points at Tedra! She falls down dead!
Risper appears in a flash of light, looking slightly disoriented.
* Tedra just bit the dust!
Rayyne asks, "Terate! What has happened?"
You hear the ghostly voice of Berr say, "I ne'er raised a weapon against you Sorc"
Terate laughs!
Risper says, "Terate."
Merry says, "Tedra's now dead"
Rayyne just tried to pull Terate towards her!
Risper says, "This ends here."
You hear the ghostly voice of Berr ask, "And this is what I get?"
Terate paces.
Rayyne sobs.
Risper says, "Let my life be forfeit, but it ends now."
Terate points at Risper!
* Risper just bit the dust!
* Risper drops dead at your feet!
Rayyne exclaims, "Stop!"
Rayyne just tried to pull Terate towards her!
Terate laughs!
Rayyne asks, "Terate, must I?"
