<<You get a strange vision of a young elf, hungry for knowledge, poring over books outlining the dark mysteries associated with the black forces of the Vvrael.>>

This story is getting more interesting by the minute.. I love it!... Anyways... After thinking about what I said, with Daephron sort of mushed in with Terate, I realized that the 360 year old sorceror was only elf, not Dark Elf... Daephron was a dark elf. So it isn't *exactly* Daephron, though I still believe it's "him" in a way...

I also believe that Terate being of pure elven blood is not a coincidence at all. I truly believe that he is the fourth chosen. Simply because he found tomes about the Vvrael doesn't mean he isn't, it just supports the fact he can be. Lorminstra wanted us to find the fourth chosen quickly. She didn't stress any urgency of "finding" the other chosen, as much as she did the fourth. Perhaps it was because she knew that if he found these books and studied them long enough, he would turn evil, pouring the "Vvrael" into him.

This refines my thoughts a little bit, though. I now believe that Terate was a very young, but brilliant, lad who happened to stumble upon the tomes of Daephron, regarding the Vvrael. We were told to find him before he learned to much, however we failed. Because of that, Terate began to learn more and more. Eventually, he unconvered the same secrets that Daephron had, but learned from his mistake, and was able to "harness" the power more correctly. Not perfectly, though. He wanted to "become" Daephron, to "become" older, to "become" more powerful.. Thus, he changes back and forth between a 20 year old and a 360 year old. However, the Title Lord remains under both ages, because "Lord" refers to one who has knowledge, which Terate has in both his ages. He released the Vvrael's powers, and they grew while he grew.. He most likely learned how to use their power to travel, and develloped the same need for life as they have... He's attempting to "become" Daephron, and the Vvrael are attempting to "become" him. Meanwhile, the original, sincere, Terate is lost behind all this, and the visions people are recieving are of the youth who's lost, feeling the need to free him from the evil surrounding.

Terate has become so obsessed with power that he doesn't realize his original goal in reading the tomes.. Knowledge.

---------

This could all be true, or it could have an entirely different spin.

Terate could have stumbled upon something in the tomes, and didn't know exactly how to handle it. He attempted to release the Vvrael, much like Daephron had earlier, but in a lesser fashion. The Vvrael slowly leaked out, more aware of their surroundings, and knew what to do to gain more power. They infused themselvs in the body of Terate, thus causing him to have a good side hidden beneath everything, while the Vvrael controlled his actions and movements.. With the Vvrael inside him, Terate aged quickly, yet retained his youthfull self hidden within. Thus, it causes his looks to shift between 20 and 360 years old.

The Vvrael continously suck the life out of Terate though, and to keep their "host" body safe, they need to drain the souls of other people, so they can maneuver Terate around, without causing him to decay into pieces.
